Labels: Connor's team after winning
Fall 2010
This fall has been really fun! We started with Nathan's birthday. He turned five. Followed by Neal's the next day, then Connor turned 14 on October 19th and Jake turned 12 on October 28th.
The boys both won their super bowl playoff games. It is a miracle to our family because Connor has been to every single championship football game since he was 8 and has never won until his final year before playing high school. Both boys had great games. Jake was the center and Connor played numerous positions but his favorite was defensive end. There wasn't one game this season that Connor didn't have a quarterback sack. Nathan also played soccer and Kaylee has decided that her passion is dance, gymnastics, and piano. She just got her back bend down and is so excited.

The past year
WOW! It has only taken me a year to update my blog! Where to start.... We bought a new house about a mile up the road from our new home in April and finally sold our old home in late September. It has been fun getting involved in our new ward and the kids have made lots of new friends.
We have just been finishing up football and have continued our football tradition of going to the championship games and losing. Both Connor and Jake went to their championship games and lost. They had great season's and it was fun to see them play.
The boys our back swimming again and our once again at the bottom of their age groups. Which is always a little bit hard. Connor and Jake both swam at Far Western's in San Jose this spring. Connor was a state champion swimmer at our state meet and won the IMX swimmer of the year award at the state meet. Jake place fourth overall in his age group.
Kaylee is busy with dance, swim team, and gymnastics. Gymnastics is her favorite activity. Her hand our very calloused from her time spent on the bars at school.
Nathan is our little tease and has finally decided that pre-school is fun. If we could just convince him that Church is fun as well. Every Sunday morning when he see's his church clothes we get the tears and comments. I hate that place. Everything with Nathan is either you love or you hate that.

Finally!!!

It has only taken my six months to update our Blog. I will seriously try to do better in the near future. This summer has been such a fun and crazy summer. It started out with our families trip to San Diego to visit Neal's brother and for Kaylee and I to go to Wicked. We had such a great time. The kids loved La Jolla Cove. They could have spent all day just picking up shells and crashing in the very cold waves. I loved Wicked and Kaylee cried when the witch died. We almost didn't make it due to crazy LA traffic. After San Diego Connor came home and went to BYU football camp. He had the time of his life. It was then time for our first big swim meet of the summer at Cottonwood Heights. The boys had an okay meet but had a great time with all of there swim friends. My biggest adventure this summer was my trip to Forks Washington with my book group. It was so amazing. Forks is one of the most beautiful places and I don't think that I have ever laughed so hard in my entire life. We then went onto state swimming. Where both of the boys had a fantastic meet. They both earned Farr Western qualifying times. Which means they get to swim in San Jose next spring. Yeah!!! It was also the time for Breaking Dawn to be released. I had so much fun at King's English getting my books. I even made the channel 2 news. The boys both had football camp this past week and are enjoying a break from swimming for a couple of weeks while they get ready for football season to begin.

Holiday's with the Anderson's
It's been a little while since I've updated our blog. Here our some of our Christmas picture's. We did about 2 weeks straight of parties. It was fun but a little crazy. We started on Christmas Eve with a party at Cousin Melanie's. We then headed to Neal's Aunt Connie's house for a big white elephant party. On Christmas day we spent the morning at our house and then went to Neal's parent's home. Santa really spoiled the kids this year and grandpa and grandma Anderson did a good follow-up. Connor and Jake got an x-box 360 with games and paddles from Santa, Kaylee got American girls doll cloths, a scooter and Pet Shops, and Nathan got bit equipment from Santa. Connor and Jake got digital camera's from grandpa and grandma Anderson, Kaylee got Molly the American girl doll, and Nathan got a rocking horse. Grandma Jill got the kids a new wardrobe so all in all they did quite well.
We had a big surprise on the 23rd. We were all hanging out celbrating Neal's brothers Eric's birthday when the door bell rang and Bella and her friend Rob had surprised us by coming for Christmas all the way from Phoniex.
It was really great to see so much family and the only bummer ended up that Neal's brother's house flooded while they were visiting us and they returned home to a mess.
Nathan and Jake at grandma and grandpa's.
Alec, Connor, and Jake being silly.
Kaylee hugging grandpa and thanking him of her favorite gifts. Barbie in a wedding dress.
The highlight of Kaylee's Christmas was mothering her cute cousin Renee (who was visiting from San Diego). The first couple of days Renee thought she was great but by the end of the week she would get nervous when she would see Kaylee.
Connor got a BYU football from his cousin which he thought was great. Especially after there close call at the Las Vegas Bowl. Yes, Connor was in tears and didn't see the last play that won it for the Cougars.
Nathan, Aidan, and Chase playing with their toys.

Nathan and his Cousin Aidan.

Nathan discovered toys this Christmas. He is our first boy to love tractor's and big equipment. Which is good because it means that we have new toys that we can get him.
Bart and Dox on Christmas day.
